Overview - São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport

São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport [pt] (IATA: GRU; ICAO: SBGR) serves the cities of São Paulo and Guarulhos.


Service to the city is provided through Aeroporto–Guarulhos Station and Taboão Station, located off-site. There is a connecting service between the rail/bus station and the airport terminals.

External Services

External services to São Paulo and Guarulhos are provided through Urban Mainline Rail and BRT-Lite.

Aeroporto–Guarulhos Station

 OFF-SITE 

S-Train

Aeroporto–Guarulhos Station [pt] is located off-site to the west of the airport. It was opened on March 31, 2018.


Aeroporto–Guarulhos Station is on the CPTM [pt] Line 13 [pt]. The following services serve this station:

  • Urban Mainline Rail - Line 13 - Service to Engenheiro Goulart. As of March 2026, 5 trains operate per hour towards Engenheiro Goulart on weekdays off peak. An additional Airport Express train operates towards Palmeiras-Barra Funda once per hour on weekdays off peak

Taboão Station

Bus Rapid Transit

Taboão Station is located off-site to the west of the airport.


Taboão Station is on the Guarulhos–São Paulo Metropolitan Corridor [pt]. The following services serve this station:

  • BRT Lite - Guarulhos–São Paulo Metropolitan Corridor - Service to Terminal Tiquatira and Terminal Vila Galvão

Connector Services

The GRU Airport People Mover (AeroGRU) connects the rail station to the three airport terminals.

The GRU Airport People Mover [pt] is a 2.7 km AGT People Mover (Aeromóvel) service that connects the railway station with Terminals 1, 2, and 3. This service began in February 2026


The service uses Marcopolo Rail Auster A000 series Aeromóvel rolling stock, run in two car consists with two doors on each side per car. The system is fully elevated and entirely grade separated.


The service is owned and operated by GRU Airport. Line color is the color the aeroGRU website logo as of January 29, 2025.

Internal Services

São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport has no internal service.
