Newark Liberty International Airport Station is located off-site to the northwest of the airport. It was opened on October 21, 2001.
Newark Liberty International Airport Station is on the Northeast Corridor. Services are provided by multiple operators - the New Jersey Transit and Amtrak. The following services serve this station:
- Commuter Rail - NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line - Service to Trenton and New York Penn Station via Newark Penn Station. As of January 2025, 3-4 trains operate per direction per hour on weekdays off peak
- Commuter Rail - NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line - Service to Bay Head via Long Branch and New York Penn Station via Newark Penn Station. As of January 2025, 1-2 trains operate per direction per hour on weekdays off peak

Airtrain Newark
The Airtrain Newark is a 4.8 km Straddle-Beam Monorail People Mover service that connects Newark Liberty International Airport Station to the airport terminals. This service began in May 31, 1996 and the last extension was to RailLink Station in October 21, 2001. Connections to NJ Transit and Amtrak can be made at RailLink Station.
The service uses Von Roll Mk III rolling stock, run in 6 car consists with 1 door on each side per car. The system is fully elevated and entirely grade separated.
