Overview - Dubai International Airport

Dubai International Airport [ar] (IATA: DXB; ICAO: OMDB) serves the city of Dubai.


Service to the city is provided through Airport Terminal 1 (المطار- مبنى رقم 1) Station and Airport Terminal 3 (المطار - مبنى رقم 3) Station, located on-site. Within the airport, there are also internal services.

External Services

External services to Dubai are provided through Metro.

Airport Terminal 1 (المطار- مبنى رقم 1) Station

 ON-SITE 

Metro

Airport Terminal 1 (1 المطار- مبنى رقم ) Station [ar] is located on-site at Terminal 1. It was opened on April 30, 2010.


Airport Terminal 1 (المطار- مبنى رقم 1) Station is on the Dubai Metro [ar] Red Line [ar]. The following services serve this station:

  • Metro - Red Line - Service to Centrepoint, Life Pharmacy, and Expo 2020. As of January 2026, 10-12 trains operate per hour in both directions on weekdays off peak

Airport Terminal 3 (المطار - مبنى رقم 3) Station

Metro

Airport Terminal 3 (3 المطار - مبنى رقم ) Station [ar] is located on-site at Terminal 3. It was opened on April 30, 2010.


Airport Terminal 3 (المطار - مبنى رقم 3) Station is on the Dubai Metro [ar] Red Line [ar]. The following services serve this station:

  • Metro - Red Line - Service to Centrepoint, Life Pharmacy, and Expo 2020. As of January 2026, 10-12 trains operate per hour in both directions on weekdays off peak

Connector Services

Dubai International Airport has no connector service.

Internal Services

The Dubai International Airport Automated People Mover has two lines, one of which runs inside Terminal 1 and the other of which runs inside Terminal 3.

Terminal 1 APM

The Terminal 1 APM is a 1.5 km AGT People Mover (Innovia APM 300) service that connects Terminal 1 and Concourse D. This service began in 2016.


The service uses Bombardier Innovia APM 300 rolling stock. The system is fully elevated and entirely grade separated.


Line color is the blue on the official airport logo as of January 15, 2026 since we could not find anything more specific.

Terminal 3 APM

The Terminal 3 APM is a 5.2 km AGT People Mover (Crystal Mover) service that connects Terminal 3 and Concourses A and B. This service began in January 2013.


The service uses Crystal Mover rolling stock, run in four car consists with two doors on each side per car. The system is fully underground and entirely grade separated.


Line color is the yellow on the official airport logo as of January 15, 2026 since we could not find anything more specific.
