The Guangzhou Metro [zh] serves the airport through Airport North (Terminal 2) (机场北(2号航站楼)) Station [zh], and Airport South (Terminal 1) (机场南(1号航站楼)) Station [zh] on the Line 3 Airport Line [zh], located the respective airport terminals. The South station was opened on October 31, 2010, while the North station was opened on April 26, 2018. A single service, Line 3, operates through this station. As of November 2022, 12 trains operate an hour to the city center (Tiyu Xilu [zh]) on weekdays off peak.

The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway [zh] serves the airport through Baiyun Airport North (白云机场北) Station [zh] on the Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Line [zh], located at Terminal 2. This station was opened on November 30, 2022.
