Overview - Honolulu

Located on Māmala Bay on the island of Oʻahu, Honolulu is the capital of and the largest city by population in Hawaii. It has approximately 351,000 inhabitants in the city proper as of 2020. The Honolulu metropolitan area comprised 1,016,508 residents as of the 2020 US Census Bureau Estimate.


Honolulu's rapid transit network consists of a single MCS metro service.

HART Skyline

Opened 2023, the HART Skyline consists of a MCS metro service that serves the city of Honolulu, Hawaii and the western suburbs.

Skyline

The Skyline is a MCS metro service on an East-West alignment. It runs from Kualakaʻi (East Kapolei) in the west to Hālawa (Aloha Stadium) in the east, serving 9 stations.


The Skyline was opened in June 2023. Skyline is owned by the Honolulu Department of Transportation Services.
