The Barcelona Metro (TMB) serves the airport through Airport T1 (Aeroport T1) and Airport T2 (Aeroport T2) stations on the L9S line, located at terminals 1 and 2 respectively. Airport T1 station was opened in February 12, 2016. L9S service to Airport T2 station began on the same day. As of August 2022, multiple trains operate an hour on weekdays off peak.

Rodalies de Catalunya serves the airport through Airport (Aeroport T2) station on the El Prat de Llobregat–Airport Line, located at Terminal 2. This station was opened in July 15, 1975. A single service, Line R2N, operates through this station. As of August 2022, 2 trains operate an hour to the city center (Barcelona Sants) on weekdays off peak.
